Hello,
I have a domain (theuxlist.com) hosted on a Go-Daddy web hosting with Linux as the OS.
From the Hosting details panel I chose to install Wordpress from the popular apps and chose to install it into a new directory (/tuxl).
After a successful install message, I tried to login but the url 'http://theuxlist.com/tuxl/wp-admin/' but I received a 403 Forbidden by administrative rules error message and notice that the URL has changed to include five random letters (e.g. http://theuxlist.com/YpiYZ/tuxl/wp-admin/).
Any idea what is happening and how I can correct it?
Hey there @Johnnyjuice,
Thanks for participating in the community!
If you haven't completed any work on the WP install yet, I'd just nuke it and start over. When I attempt to go to the site it does list an SSL error so make sure you install as HTTP unless you have an SSL on the domain already.
As to why there are random letters in the wp-admin URL, I don't know. Looks like a glitch but I could be wrong.
