    Accidently Lost A record to my godaddy hosted website

    I lost the A record accidentally pointing ot my website I built on website builders.  I hope someone can help - it should be the IP but I can't recreate it.  Thank you.

    @DH2Oregon 

     

    If your domain is registered at GoDaddy you should just need to remove the domain from the website builder and then re-add it and the system should automatically update the DNS

     

    If your domain is registered elsewhere I suggest using DNSTrails.com a free site allows you to look up DNS history for a domain

    Hi @DH2Oregon,

     

    Welcome to the Community!

     The reply from @PL281 should work. If not, you can use this guide to for the correct info for your IP address. Note step #3 (the third step #3, as the list appears to need re-numbering).
