Can't delete/modify a malicious file found by WordFence

I had recently installed wordfence and it identified a malicious file at wp-includes/fonts/configs.php.

How can i get this file deleted/removed/edited since i do not have root permissions?

Wordfence says the file was installed by a hacker.

    Any ideas please?

    Hello Billz36,

I see you have an issue with potential hacking taking place. It sounds like the file wordfence is flagging might be a false positive if it is owned by root. I would suggest opening the file and reviewing the code. If you are not certain what needs to be removed a malware expert can assist with that process.

Our solution to fixing malware related issues throughly is to use Website Security powered by sucuri. Here is a link to the plan we offer that includes cleanups and ongoing monitoring.
