Domain forwarding not working at page. only works at root level

domain forwarding is setup for naked domain to redirect to www subdomain.

e.g. example.net is redirected to www.example.net

I have a a record for www subdomain that points to an ip address.

Problem

when I access example.net it successfully redirects to www.example.net

but when I access any static pages on example.net it gives be 404 error.

www.example.net/blog.html or www.example.net/contact-us.html ... all of them give me 404 error.

What am I missing?

Re: Domain forwarding not working at page. only works at root level

Hi @ubreddy. Thanks for being part of GoDaddy Community! As discussed in this thread, recent changes to our forwarding services have caused it to no longer work when a path is entered after the domain. If you need your redirect to work in this way, you'd need to use a different method to redirect the domain. Sorry Man Sad
