I'm curious how everyone is managing customer domain names and public DNS?? Our current practice is having the customer be the manager of the registrar, but we manage the DNS with our Route 53 account.
I'm not looking to change right away, I'm just curious how other's are doing it.

Some will just use delegated access to the client's account at GoDaddy - some will leave the DNS where it is and just log into the customers accounts.
Personally I handle the registration / dns management for 90% of my clients as I'm doing a turnkey offering. For those that want to keep their own registration, I still try to manage the DNS at GoDaddy as they allow for a 10 minute TTL
