Trouble forwarding my domain to Etsy shop

I hope this is redundant being posted here.  I am having issues getting the domain to forward to my etsy shop.    Some people can get it to work using foxfiredesigns.com, but others can't at all.  It either shows an error or goes to the etsy home page.  No one can get it to work using www.foxfiredesigns.com  It was working for me, but now I can't get it to work again.  I've tried on my computer and phone.  Others tried their phones.  I am not sure if I have to add a CNAME or what.  I did it through the forwarding option, so the etsy template is being used in my DNS.  The link I want to get to is: https://www.etsy.com/shop/FoxfireDesignsByPeg

Any help would be appreciated!  Thanks!

Re: Trouble forwarding to Etsy shop

It looks like the domain is registered at GoDaddy. Seems like you should just be able to do the standard domain forwarding.

See https://www.godaddy.com/help/manually-forwarding-or-masking-your-domain-name-422 -- you should not need to mess with zone files (re: your comment about creating CNAME).

Google does have a cached version of the domain at http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:http://www.foxfiredesigns.com/ and that looks like a WordPress site. If you are trying to do something other than at the top-level of the domain, the issue may be that it's still somehow looking for that WordPress site.

p.s. feeling very knowledgeable now that I have learned what pyrography is 😉
