Cannot setup email correctly

I had office365 trial or something and had it working through there but wanted to add another email. So I wanted to remove office365 altogether and just use regular imap accounts for my domain. I changed my MX entry from remote to local but for some reason I think the MX record is still somehow integrating into Office365. Can someone remove that completely for me and make it so I can just make regular email accounts through my domain?

Hey there, I think I can help you personally, please send me an email here: warengonzaga.dev@gmail.com so I can check your problem with email. That's odd if you change your MX record it should work or just delete the old one before adding new one.
