I can not send nor recieve emails: Zone / MX problem

Hi

 

I have my hosting and domain both on godaddy, but email configuration is not working. I can not send nor receive emails, I will send you sceencaptures from Zone Editor on Cpanel and DNS records, so you can hopefully manage me in right direction.

I would removed the MX record for smtp. (priority 1) and change the one that says mailstore1 to 

mail.mndt.agency

 

The 2 existing MX records are for the GoDaddy WorkSpace email system. So you need to change that to point to your server.

First part I did, can you just elaborate on this

do you mean the ones in zone editor that should point instead of 
Destination: smtp.secureserver.net

The MX record is in the GoDaddy DNS - Not on the server it self

You are not using the server for DNS

Ok I deteled them on the server (zone editor ) and did the changes you mentioned , now i can send but not receive anything

So this is the only thing I have now, they are sending fine but I can not receive anything on them

This is looking all good - I would double check the Email Routing settings are set to Local Mail

Wow! That was the problem !! It works now, thank you I would have never thought to look at that option 😞
