MIgration from O365 to Gsuite




We recently moved from O365 emails to Gsuite. We have our Domain DNS still hosted with Godaddy. On this we changed the MX records to point to our new servers. We start receiving emails to Gsuite mailboxes. But we find that some few emails are still coming to our O365 mailboxes, these will expire in a couple of weeks.


Why are we still getting emails on O365 mailboxes, when we pointed MX records to our new servers??


Do we need to remove our O365 mailboxes by inforing GoDaddy or do they get deleted automatically on expiration?
