Making wordpress my main page?

So I'm very very new with godaddy, and created a wordpress page. I was wondering how to make it so the wordpress page wasn't a subdomain, and was the home page, as that's what the point of this was for. Is there a way to change it from xxxxxxxx.com/wordpress to just xxxxxxxx.com? (as an example)

Re: Making wordpress my main page?

Hello @bradenboll
Try to run the WordPress "one-button install" again and pay attention to the installation process.
You will get an option on WHERE the installation should be placed.
Automatically that it is done on a folder named wordpress, that is why you see your installation when you go to domain.com/wordpress
So if you do the install again and delete the folder on where the install should take place, then the install will be done on the main domain folder.
I hope that this will help you.
Good luck.

🙂
