Warning: session_start() - file too large

Getting the following error when trying to login to WordPress site. I've replaced some of the unique identifiers with x's below.

Warning: session_start(): open(/home/content/13/xxx/tmp/sess_sj43xxxxxxx, O_RDWR) failed: File too large (27) in /home/content/13/7468013/html/wp-content/themes/xxx/dtbaker.functions2.php on line 10

I've already update the php.ini file to include this line:

session.gc_maxlifetime = 1440

I waited about 30 minutes and the problem is still there. I'm not sure how to force that session file to close or delete it, since GoDaddy doesn't give me permission to that folder.

Hi @kropinkat

Managed WordPress accounts support php.ini files, but because of the difficulty in refreshing them when they're updated, we recommend using .user.ini files instead to make your changes. Or also check this article out if the changes are still not taking effect.
