    webmasterstools warnning for higher response time for sitemap.xml in wordpress managed hosting

    Hi guys . google webmastertools had a warning to me today that the my website sitemap.xml have very high response time. my site is hosted in godaddy wordpress managed hosting.  This is very bad for indexing site in google and i want to make sure server is speed up and not get this warning anymore. 

     

    What are my options.?

     

    P.S

    i think the slowness has nothing to do with theme because it loads pure .xml file.

    Hi @Shiroichi.

    It's hard to say for sure what would be causing that delay. My suggestion would be to take the direct URL for your sitemap file and run it through some tests like https://tools.pingdom.com/. That should tell you where any delay is occurring.
