Help with Codeigniter site database connection

Hello Everyone.

I'm working on a website based on codeigniter php. It's working normally on my local machine.

My work environment is : Windows 10.

The problem is, When I uploaded the website to my godaddy host, and I try to access it, this message appears :

A PHP Error was encountered

Severity: Warning

Message: mysqli::real_connect(): (28000/1045): Access denied for user 'xxxxxx'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

Filename: mysqli/mysqli_driver.php

Line Number: 201

File: /home/t7dwrimdbe5z/public_html/index.php
Line: 315
Function: require_once

A Database Error Occurred

Unable to connect to your database server using the provided settings.

Filename: core/CodeIgniter.php

Line Number: 518

What does this message mean ? & What should I do to solve it ?

Many Thanks in Advance.

Re: Help with Codeigniter site database connection

Hi @EslamAnas. Thanks for being part of GoDaddy Community! This looks like a database connection error. The first thing I'd suggest checking is to make sure you have the right username/password for the database in your config file. Another possibility would be that you've set up the database and username but have not added the username to the database. I hope that helps.
