Linux Hosting (cPanel) Help

Change a secondary domain's root folder in Linux Hosting

If you added a secondary domain name to your Linux Hosting account, you can change its root folder at any time.

  1. Go to your GoDaddy product page.
  2. Under Web Hosting, next to the Linux Hosting account you want to use, click Manage.
    click manage
  3. In the account Dashboard, click cPanel Admin.
  4. In the cPanel Home page, click Domains and then select Addon Domains.
  5. Under Modify Addon Domain, next to the domain you want to change, click the pencil.
  6. Enter a new document root, starting at your home directory, and then click Change. The secondary domain name now displays the index file you uploaded to that folder.
