Enable SMS appointment confirmations and reminders

When customers book an appointment through your Websites + Marketing site, they’ll automatically receive an email confirmation. You can also enable SMS confirmation messages and schedule reminder emails and SMS messages to be automatically sent up to two weeks before the appointment.

  1. Go to your GoDaddy product page.
  2. Scroll down, expand Websites + Marketing and select Manage next to your site.
  3. On your dashboard, expand Appointments, and then select Settings.
  4. Select Communications.
  5. Under Confirmations, switch the SMS toggle on to enable SMS confirmation for booked appointments.
    Note: Email confirmations are sent by default.
  6. Under Reminders, you can enable appointment reminders via SMS, email or both by switching the toggles on or off.
  7. Under Send reminder in advance, set sending of reminders any time from 15 minutes to 2 weeks before the appointment.
  8. Select Save to enable your confirmation and reminder selections.
